Housekeepers
The role of a Housekeeper in a Private Household can vary based on the unique needs and expectations of the household, as well as the size and number of residences. Housekeepers are responsible for all aspects of the cleaning and laundry in the private household. The role may sometimes include cooking family meals, grocery shopping or childcare. A housekeeper will have at least three years’ experience with checkable references.
A live out housekeeper can work full time or part time, normally Monday to Friday. They will work between 4 hours and 10 hours per day.

A live in housekeeper will normally work Monday to Friday (10-12 hours per day) and be provided with their own bedroom and bathroom in the house.​
Salary Expectations
A Housekeeper can earn anywhere between £38,000 – £55,000, depending on their experience.​
A part time housekeeper will charge around £15+ gross per hour for their work.
